I ordered the hybrid laptop sleeve after looking into a lot of reviews. I wanted something to act as a protective surface without having a hard case on my Macbook.
This is perfect. It's very easy to use, protects my Macbook well, has a strong magnetic hold and doesn't add too much bulk (perfect, as the 16 inch Macbook Pro is big enough!). I like that it's simple to open up onto a desk/cafe table and start working quickly. I also like that the side is set for a mousepad, as I tend to carry my mouse around too.
Delivery wise, ordered one day and delivered the next - perfect!

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Orbitkey for their exceptional customer service. After USPS lost my package containing a new laptop sleeve, I contacted them for assistance. Although USPS conducted an investigation, they didn’t find my item or issue a refund and advised me to reach out to Orbitkey instead.

I've been looking for something that would work as a decent writing surface when I don't have one available, and this suits. I also have a laptop that fits it nicely, and it is very very nice to have the charging access - something I always wangled with other laptop sleeves and/or bags, but it's much nicer having a sleeve designed to do it and to support the cable at the weakest point as well. The sleeve also works reasonably well as a lap desk for the laptop itself - it doesn't really elevate it, but it's in a slightly better position and you can adjust the angle depending on whether you have the case with the top or bottom nearest your body (this is all closed, btw - I haven't used it open as a sort of desk pad with a mousepad to the side, and am unlikely ever to use it that way). It seems durable and well made, it was crazy on sale, it's visible from space (terracotta color), it adds significantly to the weight and bulk of what I'm carrying but still fits into the laptop sleeve of a 15" Kånken (I have the 14" version of the laptop sleeve), and I like it swell.
